Jennifer Field offers her multifaceted experience in design and art direction to growing companies. She has worked with global enterprises and start ups, helping to enhance brand identity in various industries, as well as advise numerous clients and mentor staff on how to target their audience through design. Whether traveling to Mendota, Illinois for press checks or to Chongqing, China or Chennai, India for design projects, she has enjoyed engaging with different cultures. Her work has spanned industries ranging from punk rock to medical devices; from beauty products to architecture; and from luxury lifestyle to business-to-business.
biography: Jennifer was born and raised in Southern California. She was inspired at an early age to pursue life as an artist and designer by her entire family—two creative sisters, an actress mom and a father who was an advertising copywriter. As a kid she would occasionally get to participate in her Dad’s campaigns—she modeled in a print ad for Forest Lawn (happily to promote Easter sunrise services); she created breakfast-themed drawings for a Sunkist in-store poster campaign (seen on display in the cereal aisle of the local Safeway); and she provided voice work for an occasional radio spot about hamburgers and such. She couldn’t imagine having anything other than a creative job when she grew up.
She attended California State University, Long Beach where she received a BFA in illustration. During her studies, she became fascinated with book and publication design and ultimately turned to graphic design as her choice for telling a story. She hopes to help continue telling yours.
